About
Bronwen Burton

Hi, I’m Bronwen,
and I want to take the fear out of your cancer diagnosis.
I’ve worked with clients facing all kinds of health challenges weight struggles, burnout, diabetes, post-cancer recovery but my passion lies firmly in the cancer space. I’ve been there. And I want to remove the stigma around cancer.
My clients learn the exact strategies that I use to stay cancer free.
I enjoy better health today than I did before I had cancer.
The best part of having had cancer is my new lease on life. I am committed to achieving my goals and seeing all my dreams become a reality.
But it wasn’t always that way. I thought I was living a healthy life but in reality, it was full of stress and a diet gone rogue.
In 2016 I took over an existing food business with 3 staff members. My first “little business”. I had no experience but I was excited. I lived on double espressos from my new Espresso machine. The business grew and I was constantly challenged. Sleep was non-existent and I was not dealing with my stress in healthy ways.
When COVID hit, my turnover dropped to zero. Talk about stress! I was forced to rethink everything and that’s when coaching found me. I had guided a few family members on weight loss with great success. I decided to take on some paying clients and quickly got 4 individuals. Wow, I found what I loved: connecting with others on the topic of health.
But I felt I lacked a few tools to make a long lasting difference.
In that moment, I decided to get some formal training. In 2021 I signed up with Health Coaches Academy to obtain a diploma.
Then I got hit with a breast cancer diagnosis in October 2021.
I couldn’t understand why someone like my supposedly healthy self could grow cancer inside her. I was desperate for answers. I was desperate to know what I should eat. The lovely people at my oncologist’s office said I should just eat a lot and eat well so that I can get through my chemotherapy. This was nowhere near enough information for me.
My sister found me a specialist in Thailand and gifted me a 2 hour consultation in which I received all the answers I was looking for. I had my blueprint. My way forward.
When we were asked to choose a niche in our Health coaching, I knew I wanted to be that for others.
First I had to coach myself back to health. Walk the walk before I talk the talk.
I’m not going to lie: it was not easy making the changes. One would expect that a cancer diagnosis would propel you real fast, and easily, into new habits.
That was not the case with me.
But with the help of fellow student coaches, accountability and family support, I was able to address my goals, 1 at a time.
A lot of amazing things have happened since then. My husband now runs our food business and I get to live out my passion. All because of covid and cancer. Who would’ve thought.
So anyways, that’s my story. And it can be your story too. You don’t have to feel overwhelmed by your cancer diagnosis. I’m here to help you find your roadmap.
